Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOY LAVERDURE (nee TURNBULL) Peacefully at home on May 9, 2003, Joy left us in her 58th year, after survivng breast cancer for 14 years. She was much loved by all and will be dearly missed by her husband of 25 years, Gilles; by her two daughters, Erika and Livia; by her sister Jill; and by her brothers, Jim and Frank. She will be forever remembered for her joyfulness and contagious smile. The family will receive relatives and friends at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 307 Riverside Dr. in St. Lambert on May 12 from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. A funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel on May 13 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, donations in Joys memory may be made to Breast Cancer Action Montreal or to the Two-Abreast Dragon Boat Team.
